Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across various premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are hygienic, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred, but full training will be provided. Duties

  • Perform cleaning tasks across commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas regularly to prevent the spread of germs
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed. Clean interior windows and skirtings etc.
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied daily
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
  • Follow designated schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good time management skills to complete tasks within allocated timeframes
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable
