The Role

Reporting to the Vertical Manager / Head of Vertical, you will be responsible for delivering a range of specialist cleaning services, including rope access window cleaning, mobile cleaning operations, facade cleaning, and traditional and water-fed pole cleaning methods.

Working across multiple client locations, you will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards expected by NJC and our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external window cleaning using a variety of access methods.
• Undertake rope access window cleaning and associated tasks in accordance with IRATA guidelines and company procedures.
• Complete mobile cleaning duties across multiple commercial sites throughout London and the South East.
• Operate reach and wash systems safely and effectively for both low and high-level glazing.
• Assist with facade cleaning, cladding cleaning, pressure washing, and other specialist cleaning services as required.
• Conduct pre-use inspections of all equipment, including ropes, harnesses, water-fed poles, ladders, and access equipment.
• Establish and maintain safe working areas, including exclusion zones and safety signage where necessary.
• Complete digital reports, paperwork, and job sheets accurately and on time.
• Report equipment defects, incidents, near misses, and safety concerns promptly.
• Represent NJC professionally and maintain positive relationships with clients and building occupiers.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum IRATA Level 2 qualification.
• Previous commercial window cleaning experience.
• Proven experience using reach and wash systems and traditional window cleaning methods.
• Strong understanding of working at height regulations and safe systems of work.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and professional attitude.
• Flexibility to accommodate early starts and occasional overtime.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at height and in varying weather conditions.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• IPAF qualification.
• PASMA qualification.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• Experience operating BMUs, MEWPs, and other specialist access equipment.
• Experience in facade restoration and specialist cleaning services.
