Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the nursery. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking a reliable and rewarding career.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitise rooms, bathrooms, and children's areas to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
  • Change linens, replace towels, and restock supplies as required.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows to maintain a spotless environment.
  • Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organising linen supplies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing children courteously and efficiently.
  • Assist with organising supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order.

Skills

  • Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is desirable but not mandatory.
