Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various domestic places. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure that environments are safe, welcoming, and impeccably maintained. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a clean, healthy environment while working in a fast-paced, supportive team setting.

Duties

  • General cleaning and tidying of the home.
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors.
  • Dusting and wiping surfaces, furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning kitchens, including worktops, sinks, appliances and cupboard fronts.
  • Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, showers, baths, mirrors and sinks.
  • Emptying bins and replacing liners where/when required.
  • Cleaning windows and glass surfaces.
  • Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or hazards noticed in the property.
  • Respecting the client’s privacy, belongings and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all cleaning tasks.
  • Carrty out any other reasonable domestic cleaning duties relevant to the role.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or domestic roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
  • Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the day.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or hazards clearly.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Flexibility to manage own schedules and routes of cleans as they become available.
