24-7 People Solutions are recruiting for Part time cleaner for a leading Automotive company in Pontefract.

PLEASE APPLY IF YOU CAN START TOMORROW 02/09/2026

12 hours weekly.

Monday to Thursday

7am-10pm or 8am-11pm

£12.71ph

Main duties and responsibilities

Maintain consistently high cleanliness and sanitation standards across assigned areas.

Minimise health risks through effective disinfection and waste management

Respond promptly to spills, messes or requests from production for cleaning

Use cleaning agents, tools and machinery safely and in line with COSHH guidelines

Report issues (e.g. damage, leaks or maintenance needs) promptly to supervisor or site management.

Adapt to different environments such as routine office cleans or production shop floor cleans

Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning floors and windows

Dusting and wiping surfaces, furniture, shelves, ledges, light fittings, skirting boards and high touch areas such as handles and switches.

Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, bathrooms, sinks, mirrors and restocking supplies (toilet paper, soap etc)

Emptying bins in offices and kitchens

Sanitising kitchens, break rooms, appliances, microwaves and communal areas

Operating equipment such as vacuums and maintaining stock of supplies

Adhering to site-specific protocols and health and safety rules.

Any other duties reasonably requested.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
