    • Wipe down and sanitise surfaces, tables, TV's, light switches and door handles.
    • Wipe down all surfaces, cupboard doors and sink.
    • Previous experience in domestic cleaning is preferred.
    • Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across one allocated premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial, hospitality, and residential environments, with a focus on delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas regularly.
  • Handle specialised cleaning tasks in accordance with client requirements, including window cleaning and surface polishing.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times to prevent accidents or hazards.
  • Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests from clients or management.
  • Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in janitorial work, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or guests when required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational standards.
  • Basic cooking skills are considered a plus for roles involving hospitality environments.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if necessary.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this role.
