Job title: Door-to-Door Sales Rep – Window Cleaning (£28k starting salary + uncapped commission)

Location: West Lothian (Livingston, Bathgate, West Calder and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £28,000 a year (rising to £30,000 after 3 months) plus uncapped commission

About us
JM Exterior Cleaning is a fast-growing window, gutter and exterior cleaning company covering West Lothian and Edinburgh, with over 500 five-star reviews across Google and Facebook. We’re looking for a confident, self-motivated person to grow our regular window cleaning rounds by speaking to homeowners face to face.

The role
You’ll knock on doors in set areas, introduce our window cleaning service, quote on the spot and sign customers up to a regular clean. Everything is done through our own app: clock in, log every door, quote, and track your sign-ups and commission in real time.

Hours

  • Sunday to Thursday, 10:00–17:00 (30-minute unpaid break)
  • 32.5 hours a week, with Fridays and Saturdays off

Pay

  • £28,000 basic salary for your first 3 months, then £30,000
  • Uncapped commission on every customer you sign up: 33% of the regular clean price (ex VAT) for 4-weekly customers, 16.5% for 8-weekly
  • 10% commission on add-on jobs you bring in (gutters, roof cleaning, power washing)
  • Paid monthly on the last Friday of the month

What you’ll do

  • Work your assigned streets each day and log every door in the app
  • Explain our service and pricing clearly and honestly
  • Get customers signed up there and then
  • Hit weekly targets: 15 sign-ups a week for your first 3 months, then 30 a week
  • Pass on leads for other services we offer

What we’re looking for

  • Previous door-to-door, field sales, charity fundraising or customer-facing experience (preferred, not essential)
  • Confident, friendly and resilient
  • Reliable, punctual and happy working independently
  • Comfortable using a smartphone app
  • A full UK driving licence is a bonus
