Responsibilities

  • Measure window openings accurately to ensure proper fitment and alignment
  • Install, secure, and seal windows using hand tools and power tools, adhering to safety protocols
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, framing, or repairing areas prior to installation
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute precise installations
  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless workflow
  • Conduct quality checks on completed installations, making adjustments as needed for optimal performance
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly

Experience

  • Proven experience in window fitting or related construction roles such as carpentry or masonry
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques used in installation processes
  • Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans for accurate execution
  • Basic understanding of roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, welding, plastering, masonry, and construction painting is a plus
  • Experience working with construction materials such as wood, metal, glass, or composite materials
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics to follow detailed instructions effectively
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely
