We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Window Cleaner to join our team on a temporary basis.

This is a hands-on role working across a variety of commercial sites, including offices, industrial premises and multi-site client locations.

The successful candidate must have previous commercial window cleaning experience and hold a full, clean UK driving licence, as driving company vehicles between sites is an essential part of the role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out commercial window cleaning to a high standard across a range of commercial properties
  • Operate water-fed pole systems and traditional window cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Use specialist access equipment where required and appropriately trained
  • Drive company vehicles to various job locations throughout Birmingham and the Midlands
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure equipment is kept clean, maintained and in good working order
  • Work at height in accordance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Complete scheduled work within allocated timeframes while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Communicate professionally with clients and site contacts
  • Follow job sheets, risk assessments and method statements accurately
  • Assist with soft washing and other external cleaning services where required
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage or health & safety concerns promptly
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • Maintain high standards of punctuality, reliability and professionalism at all times

Requirements & Experience

  • Previous commercial window cleaning experience is essential
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience preferred
  • Competent using water-fed pole systems and traditional window cleaning methods
  • Full, clean UK driving licence – essential
  • Experience driving vans or light commercial vehicles
  • Comfortable working at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures and safe working practices
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying out the demands of the role
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to manage workloads efficiently and complete work within required timescales

Pay & Benefits

  • Salary from £26,500 per year, pro rata for the duration of the temporary contract
  • Overtime opportunities where available
  • 28 days' annual holiday entitlement, pro rata
