Home Sweet Home Part Time Cleaner Job Description

To cover areas in and around Chichester and Bognor Regis. (Must be self employed).

We are looking to hire an attentive and thorough cleaner to join our team. In this position, you will be required to dust surfaces, vacuum, mop floors, clean windows, make beds, iron and clean bathrooms all to a showroom standard.

To be successful and become a valued member at a Home Sweet Home Housekeeping, you need to be able to complete assigned tasks within time constraints, be physically fit, able to perform with minimal supervision, have a high level of attention to detail and be a positive individual. DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL ! You will also need your own public liability insurance.

Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Cobweb removal, dusting light fittings, shelves, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitising toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying bins.
• Polishing bathroom fixtures to shine.
• Cleaning windows.
• Cleaning behind furniture.
• Be confident in spring cleaning, regular cleans.
• Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.

Cleaner Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Completes cleans to a very high standard and be able to spot dirt in places that are not always visible.
• Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Available to work weekends if needed - flexible.
• Positive person who is polite, trustworthy, passionate about domestic cleaning and confident.
• Be able to openly communicate with owner.
• Based in and around Chichester and Bognor Regis.

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
