Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner/ Receptionist to join our team. Responsible for opening the club, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services, maintaining excellent standards, and customer service . This is an early morning role - core hours 05.00 - 08.00 M-F please do not apply if these are not convenient.

Duties

  • Key holder
  • Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and other fixtures as required
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning products
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
  • Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Cash handling
  • Meet and great customers and deal with simple customer enquiries

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
  • Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers or steam cleaners is advantageous
  • Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
