We're looking for former members of the Armed Forces, to be part of our team across Greater Manchester.
About us
Patch App UK is a tech start-up company based in the North of England, taking the UK's first instant book window cleaning to the masses. We are professional, agile, innovative, and our flagship Armed Forces Business Academy will help those Veterans who wish to start their own business.
At Patch App UK, we're looking for Armed Forces Veterans who are looking for a new career to help service our thousands of customers in the Northwest. You can be in the forces and leaving or have already been out of the forces for some time.
We offer a range of opportunities. Full time and part time employment. Self-employed contracts and owning your own business with Patch.
Those who want to own their own business with Patch we start as an employee as a Service Operative on our Window Cleaning rounds, whilst going through our pioneering Armed Forces Business Academy with Community & Business Partners. After successfully completing the business academy, you will be set up with your own Window Cleaning business, with full support from us. You'll be provided with your own van and equipment and have huge opportunity for growth. There is also the option to remain employed.

Duties:
*Clean and wash windows, frames and sills, using a water fed pole system.
*Remove dirt, grime, and smudges from windows and rinse thoroughly to ensure a streak-free finish.
*Wipe down windowsills on the ground floor.
*Inspect windows for any damages or cracks and report them to the supervisor.
*Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
*Maintain cleanliness of all equipment including the Patch van, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Requirements:
*No previous experience as a window cleaner is required.
*Full Driving Licence required.
*Hardworking attitude and able to meet targets.
*Attention to detail and ability to achieve a streak-free finish on windows.
*Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy equipment if necessary.
*Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Strong communication skills to interact with customers and the team in a professional manner.
