Cleaner

Location: Stoke Climsland

Salary: £24,454.04 FTE, £12.71 per hour

Terms & Conditions: Part Time (17 hours/52 weeks), Support Contract

Closing Date: 28 June 2026

About the Role

Based at Duchy College Stoke Climsland, we are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to carry out a range of general indoor cleaning duties, as directed by the Cleaning Manager. These will include vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, window cleaning, and periodic deep cleaning tasks.

The successful candidate must live within a 15-mile radius of the campus. A full driving licence is essential, as the role requires the use of college vehicles. An enhanced DBS check will be required, with the cost covered by the employer.

Skills & Experience

Applicants must have a reasonable standard of numeracy and literacy, experience of cleaning in a similar environment, be adaptable to undertake a variety of duties, customer focused, possess high standards and be a good timekeeper. A Basic knowledge of Health and Safety, Manual Handling and COSHH procedures and reasonable IT skills would be an advantage.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 16:30pm to 20:00pm
