**We are looking for an evening cleaner for a children’s day nursery **

You would be required to work Mondays to Fridays from 6pm to 8pm as contracted hours.

The salary is paid monthly.

You will need to ensure the nursery is cleaned to a high standard due to the nature of the environment.

The Nursery Cleaner is required to:

· Keep all areas of the Nursery, including toilets, clean and tidy. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning, and sweeping as appropriate.

· Dust all surfaces, skirting, and remove cobwebs.

· Remove all rubbish and place in approved bins, ready for collection.

· Cleaning internal windows.

· Store all cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines.

· Work in partnership with the Nursery Manager to ensure the timely ordering of any cleaning equipment or supplies.

· There will also be other cleaning duties to be undertaken when required as directed by the Nursery Manager.

Ideally you will have:

· Experience in a similar role.

· An excellent understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness.

· Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.

· Understands the importance of safeguarding and site security.

· Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks.

· Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision.

The working hours are 10 hours per week, 6pm – 8pm, Monday to Friday.

All employment is offered subject to a 3-month probationary period and completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and two written references.
