Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General maintenance duties (external)/Cleaning duties to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in Sheltered Housing, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential, as you will be interacting with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our cleaning services.

A dbs is required however we can assist with this.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including restrooms, and communal spaces.
  • Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Clean windows, surfaces, and fixtures to ensure a high standard of hygiene.
  • External area maintenance
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their cleaning needs and preferences.
  • Maintain an organised supply inventory and report when supplies are low.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Ability to drive is advantageous for roles.
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and effective communication in English.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently while completing tasks.

21.5 hours per week (flexible)

Various sites within the Gravesham area.
