G&P Cleaning Services Ltd are a family-owned business that take great pride in the standards of service that we offer. We are currently looking for skilled, honest and reliable cleaning operatives to join our team.

Job Title: Cleaning Operative

Location of Job: HOVE BN3 2EG

Salary: £14.80

Times: MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY 18:0OPM- 23:00PM (5 HOURS)

*IMPORTANT* ENHANCED DBS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

- IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

- MUST LIVE LOCALLY OR REASONABLY CLOSE TO THE SITE

- MUST HAVE CLEANING EXPERIENCE

- DETAIL ORIENTED

- MUST BE PUNCTUAL WITH GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS

- MUST BE RELIABLE AND COMMITED

Duties and responsibilities:

· Carrying out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping and cleaning windows, polishing, vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning toilets and office areas.

· Removing old food from communal fridges or cupboards and disposing of waste

· Emptying the rubbish and recycling bins

· Cleaning spills or accidents and thoroughly disinfecting an area afterwards

· Safely diluting industrial cleaning chemicals and using them at the appropriate levels

· Always Maintaining Health and Safety standards

· Keeping cleaning supplies stocked

· Maintaining cleaning equipment in full working order and carrying out repairs when necessary

· Completing a set number of daily tasks as specified by any Supervisor

· Dealing with Area Manager/Clients requests promptly and courteously.

· Good communication and customer service skills

· Well presented, always wearing full uniform on site.

Training:

· You will be provided with COSHH, Health and Safety and all other relevant training for this role on site by your assigned Area Manager.

Experience:

· Commercial Cleaning experience is an advantage, however full training will be given.

· Enhanced DBS certification is an advantage; however, we will process an application for you if required for this role.

· Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
