Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Fitter/Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with the installation of bespoke timber windows and doors, supporting the construction process with hands-on labour and technical skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your craftsmanship within a reputable company dedicated to quality and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation of timber windows, doors, and gates according to project specifications and schematics
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during fitting and construction tasks
  • Support the team in preparing work sites, including measuring, cutting, and assembling components
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on site
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all phases of installation
  • Support additional construction tasks such as plastering, masonry, or general labour as needed

Experience

  • Previous experience in construction or carpentry is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques
  • Knowledge of schematics, drawings, or technical plans is a plus
  • Experience working with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, or construction painting is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail
