Piper Window Systems Ltd is a well-established, family-run company with an excellent reputation for quality workmanship and customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Window & Door Fitter to join our installation team.

This role would suit someone looking to build a long-term career in the double glazing industry and who has transferable skills from a similar hands-on trade or construction background. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

Working alongside experienced fitters, you will learn how to install:

• uPVC Windows and Doors
• Composite Doors
• Aluminium Windows and Doors
• Conservatories
• Fascias, Soffits and Guttering
• Other glazing and home improvement products

You will be trained in all aspects of installation, customer service, site safety and product knowledge.

Who We're Looking For

Experience in double glazing is not essential. We would like to hear from candidates with transferable skills and experience from roles such as:

• Carpentry / Joinery
• Property Maintenance
• Construction and Building Trades
• Kitchen or Bathroom Installation
• Roofing
• Multi-Skilled Tradesperson
• General Building Work
• Shopfitting
• Mechanical Fitting or Engineering

Personal Qualities

• Practical and hands-on.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Professional and courteous with customers.
• A strong work ethic and pride in completing work to a high standard.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to learning a skilled trade.
