Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Window Fitter on a subcontract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of new uPVC and aluminium windows and doors. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. As a Window Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality service.

FIXED PAYMENT PER FRAME - BREAKDOWN:

Casement Windows : £110 per window

Sash Windows into existing frames: £110 per window

Sash window full-rip out including finishing with new MDF or timber architraves and window boards : £175 per window

uPVC and composite doors: £140 per door

Bi-Fold Doors: £90 per leaf. Minimum £200

MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VAN

Duties

  • Install and replace windows and external doors in residential and commercial properties.
  • Remove old windows and doors as required with minimal damage to the surroundings
  • Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square for optimal performance.
  • Use power tools effectively and safely to complete installations. Must have laser level and all other tools required.
  • Finish off with trims and architraves as required
  • Some Plastering or rendering may be required to fill any large cracks caused during the removal and installation
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times. Required to cover all work areas with carpet or hardfloor protection and dustsheets if required.
  • All rubbish (including the old frames) needs to be cleared and taken away to be disposed off in a skip at a designated location.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience in window fitting.

Have experience fitting uPVC sash windows and finishing off with new mdf or timber architraves and window boards
