Modern Glazing Ltd – Warwick, Warwickshire
Full-time, Permanent

Modern Glazing is looking for a reliable and hardworking Trainee Window Fitter to join our growing installation team.

No previous window fitting experience is required however experience within the construction industry is preferred. On-the-job training will be provided. This is an opportunity for someone who is practical, enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn a skilled trade with long-term career prospects.

About Modern Glazing

Modern Glazing is a specialist window and door company based in Warwickshire. We manufacture our core uPVC products in-house and supply and install a wide range of uPVC and aluminium windows, composite doors, bifold doors, sliding doors and other glazing products.

We have built a strong reputation for the quality of our products, workmanship and customer service. Our customer reviews regularly highlight the professionalism of our fitting teams, the quality of their finish and, importantly, how clean, tidy and respectful they are when working in customers' homes.

We're looking for someone who can learn those same standards and become a long-term member of the team.

The Role

Working alongside experienced fitters on a variety of sites around Warwickshire, learning all aspects of window and door installation, including:

  • Installing uPVC and aluminium windows and doors
  • Installations of composite doors, bifold and sliding doors.
  • Removing existing windows and doors
  • Glazing, sealing, trimming and finishing
  • Using hand and power tools safely
  • Keeping customers' homes clean and tidy
  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment
