Churchill Brothers specialise in bespoke manufacturing and fitting of furniture and joinery for the home, to include kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces. Building works are also offered as part of our service. Small friendly workshop team and varied job roles.
Job description
Candidate will have good knowledge of timber, its properties and preparation for joinery production, to include one off items and small production runs. Must be able to produce Joinery to high quality standards to include windows, doors, and other architectural items. The ability to work under your own initiative essential and machining experience an advantage. Eye for detail, reliability and excellent timekeeping a necessity.
Good communication skills required with other team members and an ability to meet deadlines crucial
4 years proven workshop experience in similar role essential.
Ability to interpret drawings, produce and work from cutting lists and to use correct tools/ machines to produce accurate pieces to specified deadlines.
Responsibilities
you will be responsible for site measuring, producing cut lists and rods and selection of timbers - preparation/machining and assembly of all joinery items. Having an eye for detail and ability to problem solve essential with final quality control of finished item also a direct responsibility of this role. Occasional site attendance to assist fitters may be required.
42 hours a week, permanent position. Good rates of Pay - negotiable upon experience.
