About us

Restoration Glazing is a fast-growing window and door repair and installation company based in Chandlers Ford. We’re FENSA registered, have more than 360 five-star reviews, and are expanding to four vans. We repair, reglaze and replace windows and doors for homeowners, landlords, letting agents and commercial clients across the south.

The role

You’ll be the face of the business. You’ll meet customers, work out what’s needed, measure accurately, and turn visits into booked jobs. You’ll keep our engineers’ diaries full with work that’s priced right and measured right first time.

What you’ll be doing

- Visiting homes and businesses to diagnose window and door problems and identify the right repair

- Measuring sealed units, frames and hardware accurately for ordering

- Pricing and quoting on site where possible, and following up to win the work

- Surveying larger installations for domestic and commercial properties, including care homes, landlords and managed buildings

- Spotting extra work and offering customers clear options

- Recording surveys, photos and quotes in ServiceM8 (training given)

- Working closely with our office team and engineers so every job is ready to fit

What we’re looking for

- Hands-on installation or repair experience with windows and doors. You’ve worked on the tools and know how a job should be fitted.

- Experience measuring up for your own jobs

- Good working knowledge of FENSA and the building regulations that apply to replacement windows and doors

- An eye for detail and accurate measuring -

Confidence talking to customers face to face and winning the work

- Smart, professional and well presented, comfortable as the person customers meet first

- Organised and comfortable using a tablet and simple software

- A full UK driving licence Nice to have

- Previous surveying or estimating experience

- Experience with commercial clients or larger installations

- Knowledge of safety glazing requirements

- Experience with uPVC, aluminium and timber systems
