Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable Window and Door Fitters to join our team. This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking for regular self-employed opportunities. Candidates should have extensive experience in fitting windows, doors, and conservatory roofs, ensuring precision and quality to prevent issues such as leaks. Experience in related areas such as painting, roofing, and masonry is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install UPVC windows and doors, including conservatories, with a focus on quality and precision.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for accurate installations.
• Diagnose and repair any issues with previous installations.
• Use power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
• Perform additional tasks such as painting, plastering, and masonry work as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in window and door fitting, particularly with conservatories (5-10 years preferred).
• Proficiency in using power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The necessary tools for the job.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction or carpentry are a plus.
• Reliable, honest, and professional demeanor.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £190.00-£220.00 per day

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Double Glazing Installation: 5 years (required)

• Driving Licence (required)
