Summary
We are seeking a skilled Window Fitter to join our team at FJ Corvan. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate installation and fitting of windows, ensuring quality workmanship that meets our high standards. This position is crucial to our mission of providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut window frames to specifications.
- Install windows securely and ensure proper sealing.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Fabricate components as needed for custom window fittings.
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Window Fitter or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use various tools safely.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
