Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Treatment Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all window treatments are fitted perfectly and meet our high standards of quality. This role requires a combination of technical skills and customer service expertise, as you will be working directly with clients to enhance their living spaces.
Duties
- Measure and assess windows to determine the appropriate window treatment solutions.
- Install various types of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and curtains, ensuring precise fitting and functionality.
- Utilise hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during installations.
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments to window treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and provide recommendations based on their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area during installations.
- Follow schematics and installation guidelines accurately to ensure quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in installation work, preferably with window treatments or similar products.
- Skills in painting, carpentry, welding, plastering, plumbing, masonry, roofing, building, or other related trades are advantageous.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
