Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of windows in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of building structures and the ability to work with various materials and tools. A background in related trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and repair windows in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fitting of windows.
• Fabricate window frames and sashes as required for specific projects.
• Work closely with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure seamless integration of window installations.
• Read and interpret schematics to determine installation requirements.
• Perform necessary adjustments to ensure windows are level, plumb, and secure.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed windows to identify any issues or required repairs.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Window Fitter needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £38,031.00-£42,070.00 per year

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
