Emerald Windows & Doors – Swindon

We are looking for an experienced Window & Door Installer to join our installation team.

This is a lead installer position, working alongside a mate, and would suit someone who is already confident carrying out high-quality domestic window and door installations and taking responsibility for the job on site.

Please note: this is not a trainee or entry-level position. Applicants must have proven professional experience installing windows and doors.

The role

You will be responsible for leading domestic installations, including:

• uPVC windows & doors
• Composite doors
• Aluminium windows & doors
• Removal of existing products and preparation of openings
• Finishing and making good to a high standard
• Completing installations in accordance with current regulations and company standards
• Liaising professionally with customers while on site
• Working alongside and directing a mate
• Looking after company tools, equipment and vehicle

What we're looking for

Essential:

• Minimum 3 years' professional window and door installation experience
• Previous experience working as a lead/first installer or the ability to confidently run installations
• Strong knowledge of window and door fitting methods
• Able to complete installations and finishing work to a high standard
• Good understanding of appropriate sealing, fixing and making-good methods
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a two-person installation team
• Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes

We're particularly interested in installers who take pride in the finish of their work, can identify and resolve installation issues on site, and understand the importance of leaving a customer's property clean and properly finished.

We are looking for an experienced installer who can become a reliable part of our installation team and consistently deliver the standard of workmanship our customers expect.

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
