With a newly built showroom that showcases our range of windows and doors and as part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Window and Door Installer to work as part of our installations team based at our Peterborough site.

The job role involves:

Job Description:

As a Window and Door Installer at SafeGuard, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. Your primary goal will be to ensure the precise installation of windows and doors, providing our clients with energy-efficient, secure, and visually appealing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Window and Door Installation: Install a variety of window and door types, including but not limited to, uPVC, Aluminium, Aluminium / timber clad and composite. We also install conservatories and conservatory roofs.

· Measurements and Assessments: Take accurate measurements and assess structural conditions to determine proper installation methods.

· Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet industry standards and company quality requirements.

· Sealing and Insulation: Properly seal and insulate windows and doors to enhance energy efficiency and weatherproofing.

· Repairs and Maintenance: Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on existing windows and doors.

· Customer Interaction: Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their questions and concerns.

We are looking for someone who has:

· Proven experience as a window and door installer or similar role.

· Full UK driving License

· CSCS Card desirable.

· Preferably has an NVQ in Fenestration Installation (or willing to work towards)

· Excellent health & safety working practices, including manual handling

· Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.

· Outstanding customer service skills

· Ability to work independently or part of a team

The hours of work are 7.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and you must have flexibility to work overtime.

The position is based at our Peterborough site, but you will be travelling to sites in the surrounding areas for installations, therefore you must hold a Full UK driving Licence to apply for this position.

The rate of pay offered for this position is £13.50 to £16.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime hours paid at time and a half (£20.25 to £25.13 per hour)
