Urban Windows, Doors & Conservatories is a leading manufacturer of uPVC Windows, Doors & Conservatories – working on large commercial projects and new build installations, as well as selling directly to homeowners in the domestic market.

Due to unprecedented growth and expansion, we have an immediate need for UPVC Windows & Doors Fitters.

Requirements

  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Able to work as a team or on your own.
  • Reliable and good time keeping.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Be willing to work away from home occasionally (Not very often at all)
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience working on construction sites as a window / door fitter as well as occasionally private domestic sites.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card.

Holding any of the following cards would be an advantage, although isn’t essential: -

  • CPCS
  • PASMA
  • IPAF
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Completed NVQ Level 2 in a construction related course

Responsibilities

  • The installation of windows, door & conservatories to both private domestic properties and commercial projects
  • Working to the project plans laid out by contract managers
  • Achieving targeted installation deadlines
  • Providing daily evidence of work completed, and any issues faced, through photos and video
  • Ensuring the completion of required paperwork by the clients – e.g. sign off sheets, CVIs, etc

This is a permanent full-time role, not a subbie or self-employed position.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-2:30pm.
