Job Overview

A&M Glaziers, a reputable glazing company based in Hastings, is seeking a Window Fitter’s Mate to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or further their career in the glazing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting experienced fitters with the installation and repair of windows and glazing systems.
  • Learning traditional glazing techniques, window doctoring, and UPVC fitting.
  • Supporting the team with various on-site tasks.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £20,000 - £27,000 per annum (depending on experience).
  • Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
  • Comprehensive training in UPVC fitting, window doctoring, and traditional glazing methods.
  • Long-term opportunity to become a fully qualified window fitter and multi-skilled glazier.

Requirements:

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • A driver’s licence is preferable but not essential initially.
