Role Overview:
As a self-employed Window & Door Fitter, you will play a vital role in installing our bespoke timber windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional workmanship and ensuring that every installation meets our exacting standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install timber windows and doors with precision and care.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and building standards.
- Accurately measure, cut, and fit timber products, ensuring secure and weatherproof installations.
- Remove old fixtures and prepare surfaces for new installations.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage your tools, equipment, and schedule effectively to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fitting timber windows and doors.
- In-depth knowledge of installation techniques and UK building regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A valid driving licence and reliable transportation.
- Public liability insurance (required).
