Window Fitter jobs in Weymouth

We are looking for an Orangery/conservatory/window Fitter to join a two man team. This would be a full-time position available immediately.

Our specialisation is Orangery installations, which involves fitting our unique roofing system with high-end Origin aluminium bi-folds and sliders, some basic carpentry and fitting and handling large sealed units.

Applicants must be able to use their initiative to overcome issues and work with minimal supervision. It is more than just a window fitting job; training will be provided on our system and the installation process of our Orangery system.

The role includes a company pension scheme, 28 days holiday plus an additional day for your birthday, and requires a full driving license.

We provide the team with a van, along with a fuel card, trims, materials, and some essential tools. The position would require meeting at Yeovil in a morning. The applicant will need to provide some of their own power tools.

The applicant should have AT LEAST five years of experience. Must be capable of fitting all aspects of double glazing, including Aluminium and PVC, Conservatories, and warm roofs. We are looking for a long-term commitment and will offer an excellent salary to the right applicant. The job is varied, and no two days are the same. This position provides a unique opportunity to work within a small family company established for over 25 years.

We are seeking individuals who want to work to the highest standards. Attention to detail is a must. The right candidate must have good time management skills, be able to work with other contractors, communicate with clients, use their initiative to overcome issues and be comfortable working as part of a team or on their own. The work will mainly be around Sherborne, with some contracts requiring traveling a little further during working hours. Hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime available.
