Joinery Workshop Supervisor
Fit Out UK – North West London
Permanent | Immediate Start Available

Fit Out UK is a leading interior fit-out contractor and relocation services provider, delivering high-quality projects across the Retail, Leisure, Commercial, and Residential sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Joinery Workshop Supervisor to join our modern production facility in North West London. This is a hands-on leadership role within our busy Joinery and Assembly workshop, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the joinery workshop and assembly team.
  • Issue works orders, drawings, and material picking lists to the team and warehouse.
  • Plan and allocate labour daily in line with the production schedule and capacity requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the manufacturing, wrapping, packing, and shipping stages.
  • Oversee and perform daily machinery maintenance and health & safety inspections.
  • Manage material picking, stock control, and inventory accuracy.
  • Enforce workshop processes, procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Motivate, support, and develop the joinery team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
  • Carry out any additional duties required for the smooth running of the workshop.

Requirements:

  • Strong joinery or woodworking background with several years of hands-on production experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a workshop environment is essential.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Thorough understanding of health & safety and quality standards in a workshop setting.
  • Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
