Full job description

HBHR is a fast growing, AI powered workforce management platform that connects HR, payroll and learning to a single secure employee record. We compete with well established providers, and we need an experienced, technically strong marketer to lead our digital activity.

Reporting to the Head of PR and Marketing, you will be the digital specialist in our marketing team. Together you will shape our digital, search and paid media strategy, and you will lead its delivery day to day: the website, SEO, paid media and marketing use of HubSpot. Working with our developers, you will drive relevant traffic, increase qualified enquiries and improve the return on our marketing investment.

As part of the wider marketing team, you will also support broader marketing initiatives, getting involved in a variety of activities as we continue to grow rapidly.

What you will own

  • Website. WordPress management, including updates, landing pages, forms, plugins and troubleshooting, built to our design system and with support from our in house developers.
  • SEO. Strategy and delivery, including keyword and topic research, indexing, crawlability, internal linking, structured data, technical health and monitoring search performance.
  • AI search and review sites. Growing how HBHR appears in AI answers (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and others) and on review and comparison sites such as G2 and Capterra.
  • Content publishing. Agreeing content priorities with the Head of PR and Marketing, turning them into SEO briefs, and publishing and updating content with writers and internal subject matter experts.
  • Comparison and conversion pages. Competitor comparison pages, calculators and tools, and testing on key pages such as pricing and Book a demo.
  • Paid media. Taking Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising in house, then managing campaigns and budgets to improve qualified lead generation and return on investment.
  • HubSpot. Marketing forms, workflows, lead routing, integrations, campaign reporting and attribution through to sales.
  • Measurement. GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console and conversion tracking, ensuring reliable measurement across the website, campaigns and HubSpot, with tracking and cookie consent that meet UK GDPR.
  • Reporting. Weekly performance reporting and a monthly digital update, covering relevant traffic, qualified enquiries, cost per opportunity, pipeline and revenue.
  • Wider marketing support. Contributing to campaigns, events, product launches and other marketing initiatives, working with the team as the business grows.

What you will bring

  • Proven digital acquisition results in competitive B2B software or SaaS markets (preferred), with clear evidence of commercial impact.
  • Strong practical WordPress and HubSpot skills, alongside advanced SEO, paid search, analytics and troubleshooting capability.
  • Hands on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Looker Studio or similar reporting tools a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of evolving search, AI discovery and digital marketing practice, with the judgement to turn developments into useful action.
  • The ability to turn data into clear commercial reporting.
  • A collaborative approach: you enjoy shaping strategy with your manager, explaining technical work in plain English and working with developers, sales and subject matter experts.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, comfortable working across different marketing activities in a fast paced, high growth business.

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Life insurance
  • Work from home
