About Us

Peak Wildlife Park is a wildlife conservation centre located in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands. We are dedicated to conservation, education, and creating memorable experiences for our visitors. During weekends and school holidays, the park is at its busiest, and we rely on a friendly and reliable Guest Services team to support our operations.

The Role

This role is ideal for students looking for weekend and school holiday work in a busy, outdoor environment.

As a Guest Services Assistant, you will support front-of-house operations, welcome visitors, and help ensure the park runs smoothly during peak periods. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors and assisting with enquiries
  • Supporting ticketing and entry during busy periods
  • Helping manage visitor flow and car parking
  • Assisting in retail and food outlets when required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of public areas
  • Supporting events and peak-time activities
  • Acting as an ambassador for Peak Wildlife Park and its conservation work

Important Information

Weekend and school holiday availability is essential for this role.

Pay is age-dependent in line with UK National Minimum Wage legislation. From April 2026, hourly rates range from £8.00 to £12.71 depending on age. Applications are welcome from candidates aged 16 and over.
