Recruitment Consultant - Apprenticeship & Trainee Dental Nurse Team


Location: Remote

Salary: £27,000 per annum with an uncapped bonus structure

Hours: Full-time


If you're an experienced recruiter or sales professional looking to build a rewarding career in the dental and apprenticeship sector, this is an exciting opportunity to join Tempdent's highly successful Apprenticeship & Trainee Dental Nurse Recruitment Team.


At Tempdent, we are passionate about developing the next generation of Dental Nurses through highquality training and workbased learning programmes. As part of our recruitment team, you will play a key role in matching motivated learners with dental practices, supporting both candidates and employers throughout the full recruitment and onboarding journey.


About the Role

This is a full 360recruitment position where you will manage the entire process - from obtaining vacancies from clients, to sourcing eligible candidates, arranging interviews, and supporting successful learners onto their Dental Nurse training programme with Tempdent.


You will work closely with employers, learners, and internal teams to ensure a smooth, compliant, and positive recruitment experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client engagement - Speaking with dental practices to take vacancy details, provide course information, and follow up on candidate progress.
  • Interview coordination - Arranging interviews and job offers, and supporting clients with DAS account setup where required.
  • Candidate resourcing - Sourcing new candidates in line with governmentfunded eligibility and course entry requirements.
  • Candidate screening - Conducting interviews, completing necessary checks, and ensuring candidates fully understand job and course expectations to support longterm retention.
  • Vacancy management - Advertising and managing vacancies on RAA and other job boards.
  • Learner support - Assisting Apprenticeship or Traineeship learners in securing new roles when needed.
  • Internal referrals - Referring successful placements to the Tempdent onboarding team.
  • Administration - Ensuring all documentation and placement administration is completed accurately and shared appropriately.
  • Business development - Proactively generating new business opportunities.
  • Team collaboration - Working closely with the Apprenticeship & Traineeship recruitment and management teams.
  • Compliance - Promoting and adhering to Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, safeguarding, and all Tempdent policies.
  • Confidentiality - Maintaining confidentiality of learner, staff, and company information.
  • Additional duties - Carrying out any other reasonable tasks as required.


Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Recruitment or sales experience

Desirable:

  • Experience in workbased learning programmes
  • Knowledge of funding body contract requirements
  • Experience using CRM/MIS systems
  • Understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework
  • Experience with awarding body requirements
