Job Description
We are looking for a Sports Trader with a strong understanding of RTP, overrounds, value betting, and sports betting psychology, alongside a solid knowledge of mainstream sports markets.
As part of our trading team, you will communicate directly with customers, price and accept bets on behalf of the business, and deliver an exceptional standard of customer service. You'll be responsible for assessing betting requests, managing risk, and ensuring all accepted bets are processed accurately and efficiently.
The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. A good level of numeracy is essential, with A-Level Mathematics preferred. Previous experience in sports betting, trading, or a related industry would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with customers via messaging and/or phone.
- Assess betting requests and quote competitive odds where appropriate.
- Accept and process customer bets accurately and efficiently on behalf of the business.
- Evaluate pricing using RTP, overrounds, market movements, and value principles.
- Monitor liabilities and escalate higher-risk or unusual betting activity where required.
- Deliver professional, responsive, and knowledgeable customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and follow all internal procedures and compliance requirements.
- Handle sensitive customer information with professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
