Job Coach

Job description
Petroc is a highly successful institution, delivering education and skills training in Devon and beyond and has an exciting opportunity for a Job Coach. This is a full time, permanent role covering term-time only at our Tiverton campus.

The main function of this role is to work with designated students, sourcing, supporting and reviewing work placements for learners within Foundation Studies.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with individuals with additional needs, including learning difficulties and or disabilities to ensure inclusive support is provided that meets the needs of learners.

For further information, please download the job description and Terms and Conditions.

Petroc is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All positions are subject to the completion of checks, including an Enhanced DBS clearance. We are permitted to ask whether an applicant has any convictions, cautions or reprimands or final warnings (spent or otherwise) which would not be filtered in line with current guidance as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020).

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines, an online search will also be carried out for short-listed candidates prior to interview. This is to identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available online, which the College may explore with applicants at interview. This is a safeguarding check to assess if the individual is suitable to work with young and/or vulnerable learners.
