Looking for a teaching role where you’re supported, valued, and part of something bigger than just an agency?
We’re currently working with a fantastic Primary School in Newcastle that’s looking for an EYFS to KS2 Supply Teacher. Whether you want full-time consistency or flexible part-time options, we have opportunities that suit your lifestyle and professional goals.
Why work with us?
We know that finding the right school, support, and balance matters. That's why our approach is built around you. As part of a recruitment service owned by schools themselves, you’ll gain access to roles at trusted schools, with long-term support and a real focus on your professional growth.
What we offer:
As a valued teacher within our network, you'll benefit from:
- Competitive daily rates, paid weekly through PAYE
- Guaranteed Pay Scheme (subject to availability)
- Wellbeing support, including 24/7 GP and mental health counselling
- Ongoing CPD, including safeguarding and professional development
- A dedicated consultant directly liaising with schools
- Enhanced pension contributions
- Referral Bonuses for Teaching or Support Staff!
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, in line with the curriculum and each school’s expectations
- Confidently managing classroom behaviour and upholding school policies regarding safeguarding, conduct, and work standards
- Adapting to new settings quickly and positively, maintaining consistency for pupils
- Differentiating learning for pupils of varying ability levels, including those with EHCPs and additional learning needs
- Working collaboratively with support staff and SLT to ensure every pupil receives appropriate support
- Contributing to an inclusive, respectful learning environment in both mainstream and SEN settings
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (ECTs encouraged to apply)
- Experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (any combination welcomed)
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management and adaptive teaching
- Confidence in differentiating tasks and supporting learners with additional needs
- A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to teaching
Safeguarding
At Schools Mutual Services, we regard safeguarding as a top priority. All staff must have a valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or be willing to undergo the application process through ourselves. We also require valid education safeguarding; we provide this completely for free.
