Full job description

This vibrant school in Truro is looking for full time teaching assistants to join their team immediately. The school ideally would prefer TA’s who have experience with SEN however are renowned for taking on candidates who are eager and willing to learn on the job. The successful candidate will be offered a permanent contract with the school.

What you will need to succeed:

School leaders are searching for confident, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals with an interest in the education sector. Perhaps you’re an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate or an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for the perfect role to immerse yourself in: the successful candidate will have opportunities and challenges to develop their practice.

The ideal Teaching Assistant should:

  • Have experience working as an Early Years, Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teaching Assistant or SEN TA
  • Any other relevant experience
  • Be flexible and patient
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Be able to work 8.30-4pm
