Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting functions. This role is for a self employed person.

Duties

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using recognised accounting software Xero
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly entered into the system
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims
• Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
• Proficiency in Xero
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 10 per week
