Glasgow Clyde College is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join the Finance team at our vibrant Cardonald Campus. The main focus of this role is to provide an efficient, professional range of services including includes purchase ledger, sales ledger and general ledger. The role supports student enrolment and contributes to the delivery of all College finance services.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of dealing with customer enquiries, good knowledge of computerised accounting systems, Microsoft Excel and experience of dealing with a significant value and volume of transactions, predominantly with Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable. You must be an experienced Administrator who is well organised, used to working to deadlines and has good verbal and written skills. We seek someone who shares our College values and works well as part of a team.

This is a blended working role with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home. However, the initial training period will require you to be in the office full time for the first month. The office base will be at our Cardonald campus however, some degree of flexibility regarding being able to work from our Langside and Anniesland Campuses when required is essential.

Requirements:
Ideally, you will be educated to SCQF level 7 or have significant relevant experience in the specialist area, with evidence of continuing professional development and a qualification in IT at SCQF level 5 or above (e.g. ECDL) is also essential.
