Job Summary

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Finance & Marketing Assistant to work directly with one of our Directors at The Black Horse at Elton. This is a varied role combining finance, payroll, business administration, management reporting and marketing, making you an integral part of our management team.

.Main Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase invoices using Sage Accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Running payroll using Sage Payroll
  • Producing monthly management reports
  • General office administration
  • Creating and scheduling social media content
  • Assisting with marketing campaigns, promotions and events
  • Designing marketing material where required
  • Supporting the Directors with the day-to-day administration of the business

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar administration or accounts role
  • Working knowledge of Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Marketing and social media experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Desirable

  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Experience using Canva or similar design software
