Company Overview

Endurance Health group provides domiciliary and residential care, as well as transport services under SEN in South East. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, respectful, and personalized care through highly trained carers who foster trusting relationships.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant for a minimum contract of 12 months (with the view of either extending the contract for a further 1 year or becoming permanent) to join Endurance Health in Slough. This role is vital in managing our group's financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Financial reporting and analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (like income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements). Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide reports to management.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and create financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
  • Tax management: Prepare data required by accounts e.g. for tax returns and manage other tax-related tasks.
  • Record keeping: Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger. Ensure the accuracy of all financial documents.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Experience working within healthcare or domiciliary care sectors is a plus.
