In Summary
Are you interested in using data and insight to solve problems and influence decisions? If so, our Pricing pathway could be perfect for you!Job Description
Locations: Leeds, London, NorwichHours: Full time, permanent with two-year development programme
Work type: Hybrid
Salary: £34,200
The opportunity
Pricing is about much more than numbers. It's about using data, technology and insight to understand risk, solve problems and help make decisions that have a real impact on our customers and our business.
At Aviva, our Pricing teams help set fair and competitive prices across a wide range of products and services. By analysing data, understanding customer behaviour and monitoring market trends, they help shape decisions that support both business performance and great customer outcomes.
You'll work on real business challenges, using analytical thinking, curiosity and commercial awareness to solve problems and uncover opportunities. Whether you're exploring customer trends, building models or helping influence strategy, you'll play an important role in shaping decisions that affect millions of customers. If you enjoy working with data and getting to the heart of a problem, Pricing could be the perfect fit.
Whatever path you choose, you'll work on live projects, learn from experienced colleagues and help deliver even better experiences for millions of customers.
“The best thing about working at Aviva has been the opportunity to continuously learn and develop. Coming from a non-technical background, I was initially outside of my comfort zone, but I've been supported every step of the way.” Current Graduate
The role
Our Pricing roles are based in Leeds, London, Norwich. We champion hybrid working at Aviva (typically three days in the office and two days from home), so you’ll need to live within commuting distance of the office where your chosen role is based. You’ll get the benefit of spending time with colleagues in real life as well as gaining more work-life balance.
From day one, you'll work on projects that help shape how we price our products and services.
Using data, analytics and market insight, you’ll understand performance, spot opportunities and help inform pricing decisions across the business. Along the way, you'll develop both your technical expertise and commercial understanding, building skills that are highly valued across the industry.
You'll work closely with colleagues from across Pricing, as well as teams in analytics, finance, risk and customer-facing areas, giving you exposure to different perspectives and challenges.
Whether you're refining models, analysing trends or helping shape strategy, you'll see how your work contributes to important business decisions.
