Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice to join our administrative team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in office procedures and develop essential organisational and computer skills. The successful candidate will support various administrative functions, gaining valuable insight into office operations within a professional environment.

Duties

  • Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
  • Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Organising files, documents, and correspondence to ensure efficient retrieval and storage
  • Supporting the team with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
  • Entering data into QuickBooks or other relevant software systems
  • Providing support for basic bookkeeping activities as required
  • Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised throughout the day

Experience

  • Previous office experience or administrative exposure is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
  • Familiarity with data entry tasks and clerical procedures
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong typing skills for efficient document processing
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
