Contract:
Location: Gladstone Park Primary School | Part of Anthem Schools Trust

About the Role

Gladstone Park Primary School is a warm, ambitious and values-driven primary school in Brent, where our RIDER values guide every interaction, every decision and every member of our community.

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and personable Administrative Assistant & PA to the Headteacher to join our exceptional administration team. This is a central role within our school: the successful candidate will support the smooth and efficient running of all administrative functions, act as a welcoming and professional first point of contact, and provide high-quality PA support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

If you are someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in excellent organisation, and is committed to delivering outstanding service, we would love to hear from you.

Our RIDER Values in Action

Responsibility

  • Ensure the effective day-to-day running of school administration
  • Maintain accurate records, systems and data in line with UK GDPR
  • Support safeguarding and recruitment checks in line with statutory requirements (KCSIE)

Integrity

  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Provide honest, clear and reliable communication to staff, families and partners
  • Model professionalism at all times as the face of the school

Determination

  • Work efficiently within a fast-paced office environment
  • Support with financial administration, attendance systems and whole-school operations
  • Produce high-quality documents, letters and reports for leaders and governors

Empathy

  • Offer a warm, welcoming reception service for visitors, parents, pupils and staff
  • Build positive relationships and communicate with clarity, patience and understanding
  • Support children, families and colleagues with kindness and care

Respect

  • Promote our inclusive ethos through every interaction
  • Celebrate diversity and ensure that everyone visiting the school feels valued
  • Work collaboratively with the Office Manager and administration team to provide consistent, high-quality service

About You

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Is highly organised, efficient and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Is confident using digital systems, databases and Microsoft Office
  • Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy
  • Can work discreetly, especially when handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Thrives in a team environment and is committed to our RIDER values
  • Is proactive, solutions-focused and willing to “get stuck in”

Experience working in a school office or similar environment is desirable but not essential.

Why Join Gladstone Park?

  • A friendly, inclusive and values-led community where every adult is supported to grow
  • A dynamic and collaborative administration team with a great sense of humour
  • Engaged, enthusiastic pupils who love being “Gladstone RIDERs”
  • A commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development
  • The opportunity to work within Anthem Schools Trust, benefiting from collaboration, training and career development across a wider family of schools
