Genix Healthcare Dental Practice-Whitley Bay

Part time 3 days a week, please ask about days that would suit you best.

We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
  • Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
  • Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
  • Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries as needed.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the practice.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Implement and adhere to health and safety regulations within the practice.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred, particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and dental software is advantageous.
  • A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
