Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable / payable, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organisation

Duties

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of accounts receivable and payable
  • Prepare and reconcile invoices, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures with scope to work additional hours as and when required.
  • Liaise with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or queries related to accounts.
  • Utilise accounting software Sage (previous experience preferred but not essential) and adhere to the businesses internal processes.
  • Support the finance team in various administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for POD chasing and verification, ensuring all deliveries are supported by accurate proof of delivery documentation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software including Sage, is preferred but non essential
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to self manage their workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues and external stakeholders.
