Full job description

Busy Garage seeking talented Receptionist

We are a friendly team, operating a busy garage in Restalrig area of Edinburgh. Due to the high demand, we are now seeking a talented receptionist to start ASAP

Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Main point of contact for customers, will provide high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Ensure a welcoming, efficient, and responsive reception service for customers, telephone callers and visitors to the garage.
  • Create invoices, take payments, and handle cash with accuracy.
  • Book in appointments for MOT tests, vehicle work, and services.
  • Answer calls and reply to emails.
  • Order vehicle parts and liaise with suppliers.

Skills required for the role:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • PC literate.
  • Possess an excellent understanding of customer service and be polite and professional at all times.
  • Previous experience within an administrative/receptionist role.
  • Previous Garage workshop experience is preferred, but not necessary as training will be provided.

The working hours will be:

Monday to Friday (40 Hours, times negotiable)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £27,000 - £30,000
