Full job description
Busy Garage seeking talented Receptionist
We are a friendly team, operating a busy garage in Restalrig area of Edinburgh. Due to the high demand, we are now seeking a talented receptionist to start ASAP
Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Main point of contact for customers, will provide high levels of customer service at all times.
- Ensure a welcoming, efficient, and responsive reception service for customers, telephone callers and visitors to the garage.
- Create invoices, take payments, and handle cash with accuracy.
- Book in appointments for MOT tests, vehicle work, and services.
- Answer calls and reply to emails.
- Order vehicle parts and liaise with suppliers.
Skills required for the role:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- PC literate.
- Possess an excellent understanding of customer service and be polite and professional at all times.
- Previous experience within an administrative/receptionist role.
- Previous Garage workshop experience is preferred, but not necessary as training will be provided.
The working hours will be:
Monday to Friday (40 Hours, times negotiable)
